AM: Planet Walk 5 miler in the frost.  10 degrees.  STILL not 100% healthy.  48 hours to get well.  Its actually not that bad, but annoying.

PM: Ran to and from Paul's house and 3 miles with him.  He was back to his old speedy self.  Much faster than I was expecting.  Paul is BACK!  Watch out...

Right afte, drove down to SLC and we are staying at the in-laws for the night.  We leave for Moab tomorrow....

You raced like a madman in the 10k with a little cold, I'm sure you'll ramp it up even more in Moab. Once you get down there and breath a little warm desert air, I'm sure you'll feel better.

From Jon on Thu, Mar 06, 2008 at 13:08:52

Yeah, just be sure to push yourself so hard at Moab that you won't have any energy left for races in the next few weeks after...

No worries, if I do something I do it all out. I plan on killing myself...

Well, I don't know if I would go that far. However, running until all color drains out of your field of vision, your ability to hear vanishes, and all other bodily functions become singularly devoted to the production of lactic acid does seem like a reasonable goal. Good luck.

From Cody on Thu, Mar 06, 2008 at 17:16:00

Wow! THAT is a worthy goal!

Cody, holy cow, eat some nails for breakfast, may help make you even tougher. You won't need luck at Moab, the competition will. Great attitude
