Big workout today.  I did a 2 mile warmup to the end of the Planet walk then did 1.5 miles at tinman tempo pace (6:27 pace).  Once at Logan track, I did 7x 1600m at LT pace (Daniels calculator puts that at 5:56) with 200m rest inbetween. I went:

 Mile 1

 5:53

 Mile 2

 5:56

 Mile 3

 5:48

Mile 4

 5:55

 Mile 5

 5:58

 Mile 6

 6:01

 Mile 7

 5:47

I felt ok starting out.  Paul showed up on my third repeat and as he passed me, I sped up a bit and that caused a faster time.  The 5th and 6th were pure torture.  I don't know how I can hold this pace for longer than a few miles.  The 7th, Paul joined me and it helped a ton.  I gave a kick the last 100m to finish strong.  After a lap to recover, we ran me back home at 6:30 pace.  I am dead, but feel good.  Another workout in the bank.

Total Time: 1:33:44 (6:52) Ave HR: 162

Great workout, impressed that your last mile was the fastest. It seems you are in shape to give a PR a go at the TOU Half. Good luck.

Nice workout Kody. I really makes you feel good after a hard work-out. I run my tempo's at this pace and it does get hard after the first few.
