Dry Canyon with Jon -

A very fun run in some rough conditions.  The weather was perfect but the snow...  The snow was deep enough that if you wandered off the trail even the slightest bit, you sunk in up to the hips.  We both took some great spills on the way down.  Nothing like running sub 6 min pace and then ending up on your stomach buried up to the waist.  Good times.  The time flew by and before too long we had to turn around.  I am glad though because the legs and lungs were sure getting a workout in.

At least it doesn't hurt to run 6 min pace and fall on snow- rocks and dirt wouldn't be so kind!

Now we just have to convince Paul and Scott to join us next time.

yeah, that sounds like exactly what I want to do for fun. let me talk to my calves and get back to you.

bigger issue: I now have two, not one but two, documented cases of mileage padding by you guys. this puts me in a tough situation. My conscience tells me I have to do something about it, ie rat you out to the blog mileage police. But I really hate to see two swell guys getting in trouble for this. Maybe we can work something out?

Mileage padding my eye...Yeah ok, so it wasn't 9 miles, but it sure felt like it, so there!

You are are crazy flying down the mountain in the snow that fast. Video of a face plant in needed.
