I think I have come down with the same symptoms the majority of the blog currently has.  Laziness (aka body revolting against venturing out in the cold/snowy/winter air day after day while all you want to do is sleep).  I am burned out and would take a whole month off if it were not for the desire to set PR's and take advantage of the best fitness I have ever had.  I know many people can relate.

Anyway, I did manage to get out just before 9 pm this evening (first chance I got).  Slow miserable 8 miles (luckily it was un-timed).  Body felt lousy of course.  I think I will take tomorrow off and see if I can re-charge the batteries.  It seemed to work for others on the blog.

well it's good to know I'm not the only one. phew.

I should be around saturday if you or anyone wants to go for a run...although I'm not up to a 15 miler or anything right now.

Joe-

Talk to Paul. He is usually up for a 9 miler or so. Jon and I are running in the Striders 10K (in Ogden) on Saturday and won't be around.

I think that the winter blues are really affecting us notherners and thus dampening our spirits to run (I know that is the case for me!). Hopefully a day off and a good race this Saturday will recharge you.

Cody - sorry I gave you my lazy disease.

Joe - I need to run at about 6:30AM on Saturday, as I have a meeting to go to in Smithfield at 8:30AM. (and then it's off to SLC for skiing). I want to run 10 or 11 miles. I was thinking about running in the North Logan area, so I could probably swing by the university, or we could meet in the middle.

Good choice.

Cody, best thing is to listen to your heart and you will make the right choice. We all need breaks. Work, Family and training is a lot for anyone. Take the break and enjoy your family.
