Combined Portions of the Fence Run and the Gossner run to make it 7.1 miles. Dan and I did an easy 5 min warm-up at 7:30 pace then did a 3 mile tempo at 6:30 pace. The last 3+ miles were done at 7:30-8:00 pace. The tempo hurt that last mile, but I feel much better about myself after doing it. I had a lot of muscle fatigue (latic acid maybe) in my legs that slowed me down.

Total Time: 51:00

Ave HR: 165 (~175-179 during tempo miles)

Good training. You look leaner on the new picture. Did you lose some weight since last year?

From cody on Thu, Oct 12, 2006 at 13:03:00

Sasha,

I sure did. Maybe only 5 lbs max though. But I know that I am leaner now. More muscle. I feel like I am in great shape. I am 5'7" and weigh 135-140 depending on when I weigh, eat, drink, run etc. I have a bit more upper body strength then most long distance runners so that accounts for a couple lbs. I could lose 3 more lbs if I improve my eating habits, but that is a challenge giving up junk food. I don't know how you do it.

Think of it as poison that will keep you from achieving your full potential. Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative, don't mess with Mister In-Between
