Long Run - Trails

2 miles with Jon before meeting Paul and Carson (it has been a long time since I ran with him). We ran on the BST from Paul's house over to Logan Canyon overlook then up Green canyon singletrack for a mile (Jon and Paul whimped out when it got snowy), hit some road then canal trail back to Paul's. Good long run with lots of time on the feet. 1700+ feet of elevation gain too so it wasn't easy.

Hey, I didn't wimp out on the snow! I run on snow a lot more than you! I had stopped for the bathroom and just hadn't caught up yet. Sheesh.

I knew I would get a rise out of you on that one! Sorry, rebuke noted.

anyone want to pace me tomorrow?

From Cody on Sat, Apr 10, 2010 at 23:01:41 from 174.52.244.185

Yeah, I am in. I owe you one. Lucky for me, you are racing fully untapered and tired. That way I can keep up.

My vote, stay and run, but don't be mad if it isn't a perfect race. Just relax and enjoy getting crushed! Uh, I mean beaten barely. Err, just blame it on the pacing. Who needs a pacer for a 5K anyway? Whimp.

Cody, that is kind of my plan, just to run for fun so I can say I did the big 5K, but I doubt I will break 6 minute miles, I am guessing 18:30-19:00?. I will need to hit the road right after the mens 40+ race to get the kids back by sunday night for school monday, so no time to stick around and watch the elites, bummer, that would have been fun. hope the weather turns warms up for us in Utah when I get back.
