My knee caps has been getting progressively more and more sore and stiff since the race saturday.  I rested it this morning and it got a bit better during the day.  I ran 2 miles with the kids in the stroller to the park again.  When I got home, things still felt pretty good so I drove up to Green Canyon to get some dirt running in.  I made it 7 miles in just under an hour before it got dark.

I hear you on the knee issues, I have a little bit of runner's knee going on as well. If it is not intense, taking some time off may help.

Hope they start feeling better soon.

I have had some knee cap pain this year, blasting out my quad with a roller seemed to help it a lot. I'm sure you're right about all that downhill in the race causing the issue. If you have thrashed/knotty quads, it's pretty likely to be putting stress on the patella tendon. Good luck healing up, and good luck this week helping Jon win the bear!!
